Niffaholics: THE HIGHANDMIGHTY MOUNTAIN TALE

On Sunday the 11^th of december 2011, benny, phil and me got on the road to the far away Ramsau at the Dachstein glacier. The Skiboys Willi and Lukas, Johannes and the photographer Franz Ortlepp joined us up there. The Guy´s from High&Mighty Gerd and Holger invited us for one week to spent a good time at this lodge called „Neustadtalm“. Which is on 1500m a.s.l in between the beautiful and mighty alps. We didn´t have any clue what would expect us there. The single thought, to stay in a lodge in 1500m a.s.l, far away from any human life and the grey masquerade of citylife was unbelievable. But to know to get one with the lovely Mother Nature made us the decision easy. So we got up from our warm couches, picked up some clothes, boards and gadgets we needed and moved through the lowlands to the mountains in south europe. As we arrived, after an 6-hour Roadtripand hundreds of kilometers, we couldn´t believe our eyes as we reached the small dreamly, nearly soulless village. It was like ad ream came true. From the first minute on we felt one with the four elements of nature inbetween the madness of that austrian alps. It seemed that every piece of wood, every stone and every corner in this village had to tell its own stories...
